Project: Network Design
Client: Crissy Field Media
Synopsis: Crissy Field Media needed a network design to facilitate their start up product. The product is based on a server client model with roughly 1500 planned deployments in North America. The network needed to secured, encrypted, and scalable.

- Core infrastructure was created to accommodate the ever increasing deployments
- Turn key with absolute fail-over
Key Achievements: Created a reliable, secure, scalable network on a very tight budget. Ensured the client was pleased with the end result, also deployed IPSec VPN, Zimbra Mail Server and a Firewall.
Project: Zimbra Investigation/Roll-Out
Client: Divine Mac
Synopsis: Divine Mac wanted to move away from their existing Mac mail solution towards a more cross-platform solution with shared calendaring. I investigated the implemented the Zimbra Collaboration Suite for them.
Key Features:
- Cross platform integration (iCal, Outlook, AddressBook), including advanced web-interface
- Integrates to pre-existing Open Directory LDAP
- Shared calendaring and document briefcase
- Planned migration of existing email account and messages
Key Achievements: I was given the generic task of investigating this solution. Very little documentation was available at the time, I was able to work around this by working closely with the on-line community and the Zimbra support team. All users rolled over successfully and was able to bring peace to a platform divided office, they now have shared calendaring between Mac, PC, and Linux users.
Project: CoFicio Installation
Client: Best Buy /Future Shop / Quebecor World
Synopsis: Created a replicated MySQL environment to host a inventory sku control system. Integrated this solution and migrated data from the pre-existing solution called SkuCentric.
Key Features:
- Upgraded system providing faster access
- Replicated databases ensuring secured data
- Windows and Macintosh GUI clients
- Increased Network productivity by introducing a stable redundant RAID
Key Achievements: Acted as a liaison and solutions provider between the BestBuy, Quebecor and a contracted IT/IS company. A productivity increase of 30% was projected in the original assessment but over 50% was realized after integration was completed.
